**Please note – the pictures in this blog are just highlights from Justine & John’s day. It is concentrating on them and their story. all final, edited images will be delivered to Justine & John approximately 12 weeks from their wedding date.
Steve and I had been looking forward to this wedding and I am sooooo excited to share the photos! I met Justine on Facebook. I met with her and John in person a little over a year ago. I knew they were an awesome couple and were going to be fun to spend their day with.
They had a 5:00pm ceremony time, so we started the day at 11:00am. It was an absolutely gorgeous day.
Baseball was a very big part of their day. John used to play in the majors and was a coach with the Washington Nationals. He is now coaching with the Upper Deck Travel Ball and is enjoying it. Justine works with the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. Are these not the coolest ring boxes you have ever seen??? They took baseballs, cut them in half and made slots for their rings…
This picture will make sense when we get to the reception… 😉
After Steve took some of the detail photos in Justine’s room, he headed to John’s resort for some getting ready photos with him…
The ball on the right is from John to Justine. She had attended a game he was playing. He saw her, wrote a message on the ball and threw it to her. She refused to catch it and it bounced to a gentleman in front of her. Thankfully, she finally got the ball. Otherwise, this could have been a much different wedding! 😉
Their flower girl, Ella, was absolutely adorable!
Time to head to the Grand Floridian for pre-ceremony photos…
Time to get in the dress…
Justine – you are absolutely gorgeous.
How cute is this?!
Sharp dressed man…
Justine & John chose to not do a first look. They did a “first touch” instead. They talked for a few minutes before John headed to the Wedding Pavilion and Justine had her pre-ceremony photos taken.
Justine tried to turn their first touch into a first look. She kept peeking. Steve caught her! 😉
I couldn’t decide if I like black and white or color better for the next two images, so I chose to share both.
Justine’s bouquet and the bridesmaids’ flowers were all glass. They were made in Disneyland and shipped to Florida. While photographing the details while getting ready, one of the stems from Justine’s bouquet snapped off at the joint. Thankfully, Aurelis, one of the videographers remembered that Magic Kingdom has a glass blower. Aurelis and I made a dash to the monorail and dropped it off to be fixed. It arrived, fixed, just in the nick of time for the ceremony!
A carriage fit for a Princess!
Mr. & Mrs!
20 second dance party!
The “lineup” for the reception. 🙂
Do you see the hidden Mickey?!
Introductions – team hats for the guys and team jerseys for the girls…
Justine used to hang out with Pluto. ALOT!
It was an absolutely perfect day!
Two days after the wedding, I received a message from Justine asking if we were available the next day. They had their Magic Kingdom Bridal Portrait with Disney Fine Art Photography scheduled for early morning and since they would already be dressed in their wedding attire, wanted to do more pictures. ABSOLUTELY! We always embrace an opportunity to see our couples, again! So, we headed to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge since Animal Kingdom is John’s favorite.
Steve took this and immediately got goosebumps!
We got what we needed at Animal Kingdom Lodge but weren’t ready to be done yet. John had one request – ESPN. So, we headed there to see if we could possibly take some photos on the baseball field. We were totally okay if we couldn’t but had to give it a try. The staff there were absolutely amazing and accommodating. We honestly can’t say thank you enough for allowing us to capture these extra photos for Justine & John.
This is my favorite photo that Steve caught from this session…
Justine & John – Thank you, again, so much for allowing us to spend your day with you and capturing these memories. We enjoyed every single minute. We look forward to seeing you, again, and are so happy and honored to have you part of our “family”. We wish you much love and happiness in the years to come!
