**Please note – the pictures in this blog are just highlights from Erin & Paul’s day. It is concentrating on them and their story. all final, edited images will be delivered to Erin & Paul approximately 12 weeks from their wedding date.
Just a fair warning – this post is going to be a bit on the long side. #SorryNotSorry
Grab a cup of coffee, some cake and possibly some tissues. I have been waiting over a year for this post…
I met Erin where I meet many of our brides – on a Facebook group. I had taken some photos in the Magic Kingdom and she happened to see them. We chatted a bit and set up their engagement pictures also in the Magic Kingdom. Steve, Grace and I immediately fell in love with them. We had a fantastic day. I really, really hoped they would want to use us for their wedding, too. Then, last July, I ran a DisBride’s special and Erin contacted me. YAAAAAYYYYY!!!! We then waited. And waited. Lots of communication and planning happened. It seemed like it would never get here.
Before we knew it, it was time to pick up our rental car, pack up our luggage and make the trip from Central Florida to Long Island…
It was a beautiful day – hot and humid but perfect. I started with Erin around 11:30am with her hair appointment.
Steve spent part of the day with Paul at his apartment. Paul’s friend, Erin (yes, another Erin 😉 ), was his Best Woman.
Once Erin was done with hair, we headed back to the hotel for makeup and to get dressed…
I think it’s safe to say that she was happy!
Erin – YOU. ARE. STUNNING!!!
Is Erin’s flower girl (and Goddaughter) just the cutest thing ever?! Petal Patrol!!
IT’S WEDDING TIME!!!!!
Yes, Paul – just you wait…
Seriously, Erin! Simply stunning!
WE DID IT!!!!
How gorgeous is their venue?!
Because if you are wearing a twirly dress, you MUST twirl!!!
20 second dance party!!
Time to unwind before the reception…
It’s party time!
Okay – how cool is this guest book??? Annie Frye, with Practically Perfect Crafts (see her link below in the vendor section), used one of the photos we took during Erin & Paul’s engagement session and turned it into a silhouette. I am beyond impressed!
Mr. & Mrs. Paul Licht!
The evening was absolutely beautiful, so we headed outside for a few quick photos…
Time to cut the cake!
This was something new for us. SO. MANY. DESERTS!!!
Always “Team Bride”! Sorry, Paul. I have a feeling Steve is “Team Groom”, though. 😉
Have to get that selfie!
The day went by way too fast. Just like they always do. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding with amazing people. We were brought into the fold of family and friends and didn’t feel like “just another vendor”. As with most of our clients, Erin & Paul became family. We are so beyond blessed to have them in our lives. We were sad to say goodbye. However, it was a temporary goodbye, because where do Disney fans take their honeymoon? At Walt Disney World, of course (followed up with a Disney Cruise)!
Erin contacted me about doing a honeymoon session for her and Paul while they were here. Of course, I absolutely said YES! They also invited us to join them on the Grand One Yacht for the Happily Ever After fireworks over the Magic Kingdom. Erin & Paul were staying in the Grand Floridian Villas, so we started there…
This pose was alllllll Steve’s idea. I jumped in and grabbed a quick photo…
I love this picture that Steve captured…
As we went out on the Yacht, we were lucky to have a gorgeous sunset!
Erin is a true life Princess…
Erin & Paul –
Steve and I cannot thank you enough for trusting us to capture the beginning of your happily ever after. We absolutely love both of you. You are family. We are beyond blessed to have you in our lives. We hope you are relaxing and enjoying every minute of your Disney Cruise. We look forward to seeing you, again, soon.
